Author. Storyteller. Retired teacher. Part-time demon wrangler.
Some authors are born. Others are seasoned — usually by life, science, teaching, and the occasional encounter with supernatural weirdness. R.L. Gemmill falls firmly in the latter category.
He once climbed a mountain, taught anatomy for over 30 years, and had all his food stolen by squirrels in the Grand Canyon. These days, he’s more interested in storytelling than squirrel encounters, but the spirit of chaos remains.

Robert spent decades in the classroom — teaching biology and anatomy, and collecting enough weird facts to make you worry about what’s lurking in your attic. Now retired, he’s turned his full attention to writing stories that are rich with imagination, mischief, and monsters (some with tentacles).
