About the Author
Science teacher turned storyteller. Suspiciously knowledgeable about demons.
đź‘‹ About R.L. Gemmill
Author. Storyteller. Retired teacher. Part-time demon wrangler.
Some authors are born. Others are seasoned — usually by life, science, teaching, and the occasional encounter with supernatural weirdness. R.L. Gemmill falls firmly in the latter category.
He once climbed a mountain, taught anatomy for over 30 years, and had all his food stolen by squirrels in the Grand Canyon. These days, he’s more interested in storytelling than squirrel encounters, but the spirit of chaos remains.
🧠A Brain Built for Stories
Robert spent decades in the classroom — teaching biology and anatomy, and collecting enough weird facts to make you worry about what’s lurking in your attic. Now retired, he’s turned his full attention to writing stories that are rich with imagination, mischief, and monsters (some with tentacles).
He doesn’t just write books. He writes READ WITH CAUTION books.

✨ Why He Writes
“I wanted to create stories that live in the gaps — between science and fiction, logic and nightmare, good and evil. Also, I thought it’d be cool to write about demons and teenagers.”
That’s Robert in a nutshell: endlessly curious, slightly spooky, and always up for a good twist. His books aren’t just entertainment — they’re experiences. With pulse-pounding action, deeply human characters, and just the right amount of weird, he delivers stories that stick to your ribs like something you shouldn’t have eaten in Pandora’s Cave.
